Inside the experience
First, sunset over the Alps, then the silence of the forest lit by headlamps and, finally, a hot fondue to share.
The experience begins in the afternoon, when the group leaves the valley and reaches a mountain location chosen according to the snow conditions.
After ascending by lift, the guide explains how to control the sled, brake, handle the turns and keep a suitable distance from other people.
The descent begins in the sunset light, when the mountains and the snowy landscape take on golden, orange and pink hues.
After about twenty minutes, the light quickly fades. At that point, the headlamps are switched on and the group continues along an unlit track through the snowy forest.
The guide accompanies the group throughout the descent, controls the pace and organizes the necessary stops to keep the group together.
Once back in the valley, the experience continues in a warm setting with a classic cheese fondue served with bread and a glass of wine.
How it works
Meeting time is approximately 10 minutes before departure, scheduled tentatively for 15:30.
After check-in, you will meet the guide and receive the sled, headlamp and required equipment.
A shuttle takes the group to the lift station. The transfer takes approximately 30 minutes, but the route may change depending on the snow conditions.
The cable-car ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Once at altitude, the guide gives a safety briefing and explains sledding techniques.
The descent takes approximately 1 hour. The first part takes place in the sunset light, while the final section is completed in the dark with a headlamp.
At the end of the track, a shuttle takes the group back to the Interlaken area, with a transfer of approximately 30 minutes.
The evening ends with approximately 1 hour dedicated to the fondue, served with bread and a glass of wine. A non-alcoholic alternative is available on request.
