Inside the experience

A descent through the Alpine night, with snow beneath the sled, the forest all around and only the stars lighting the way.
The experience takes you to a mountain area far from the city lights, where the winter landscape takes on a completely different atmosphere after sunset.
After the transfer to a small Alpine village, the guide presents the route and explains how to control the sled, brake and safely navigate the bends.
The descent passes through snow-covered forests, open sections and a frozen waterfall, with regular stops to regroup and admire the view.
The pace is adapted to the snow conditions and the experience level of the participants. No previous sledding experience is necessary.
Between sections, you can experience the silence of the forest, the cold air and the natural light of the moon or stars: a setting very different from traditional illuminated slopes.


How it works

The meeting is scheduled approximately 10 minutes before the departure time.
After the welcome, you will meet the guide and receive the equipment needed for the excursion.
A shuttle takes the group to the starting point, crossing the winter landscape for approximately 20 minutes.
Upon arrival, there is a briefing lasting approximately 15 minutes on how to use the sled and the rules to follow during the night descent.
The guided descent lasts approximately 1 hour and passes through snow-covered forests, scenic sections and a frozen waterfall.
Several safety stops are made along the way, allowing the group to regroup and enjoy the mountain atmosphere.
Once the valley is reached, the shuttle takes the group back to base with a transfer of approximately 20 minutes.
Upon returning, the sled and any rented items are returned.

The experience is ideal for those who want to experience the winter mountains after sunset, away from the more crowded slopes.
It is suitable for couples, families with children aged 10 and over, groups of friends and people experiencing sledding for the first time.
No specific technical preparation is required, but you must have normal mobility and feel comfortable on snow.
Children under 12 must participate together with an adult.

The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.
The guided sled descent lasts approximately 1 hour.
The experience is available approximately from December to March, depending on snow conditions.
The guides speak German and English.
Bad weather alone does not automatically result in cancellation. The activity will be assessed based on snow conditions and safety standards.
If the activity is cancelled by the organiser, it will be possible to reschedule, choose another activity or receive a full refund.


What to wear

Wear warm and waterproof jacket and trousers. Bring warm gloves, a hat or headband and shoes with good grip. Some clothing items and accessories can be rented on site.
