An exclusive journey through the area where Brunello di Montalcino is produced, among spectacular landscapes, historic wineries and great Tuscan wines.
You will leave Florence aboard a private air-conditioned vehicle and head for the hills of Montalcino, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, crossing one of Tuscany’s most iconic landscapes.
During the day, you will visit carefully selected wineries, stroll through the vineyards and discover the production, ageing and storage techniques that have made Brunello one of the most highly regarded Italian wines worldwide.
Guided tastings will introduce you to Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino and other local labels, accompanied by explanations from the producers and your guide.
Around midday, you will sit down to enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch, prepared with local ingredients and accompanied by a selection of wines from the estate.
Afterwards, you will have time to stroll through the historic centre of Montalcino, visiting its charming medieval streets, wine shops and panoramic views over the Val d'Orcia.
